If you are not teaching during Summer Session A, or you do not use GauchoCast in your course, please disregard this message.

If you are Teaching during Session A and you do use GauchoCast, please be advised that the GauchoCast Servers will be down for an upgrade window that is scheduled on Sunday, June 29 from 8 AM to 10 AM. We are adding additional network capacity to our server rack in the North Hall Data Center in preparation for adding three new servers for GauchoCast in order to improve capacity and performance. Adding the additional switching capacity requires that we shutdown all of the virtual and physical servers in our rack, as well as shutting down all of the attached storage. The actual downtime should only be 5-10 minutes, but we wanted to buffer in the event that there is an issue that arises when we bring everything back on line.

This downtime will affect all Instructional Development servers, but will NOT affect GauchoSpace.
