Gauchocast allows users to download audio or video podcasts of different sessions. Follow these steps to access downloadable podcasts:
1. Navigate to the settings of the session you wish to download. (Note: you must be listed as a "Creator" in the session in order to access the settings. If you aren't listed as a Creator and would like to be please contact the owner of the content).
2. Within the session settings click on Outputs. This will be found on the left side of the settings dialogue window.
3. Select what you want to download in the "Type" drop-down menu and then click the "Download Podcast" link. (Note: all sessions are set to download in 1080p).
4. Please note that, per the "GauchoCast Service Description" (October, 2012), that "Course Modules will be retained on the server for a period of four academic quarters after the quarter in which the material was recorded." Further, "they can be renewed on a yearly basis by request of the content producer or their academic department." Also, "It is possible to archive these recordings on request, before the end of their active period." Consult http://id.ucsb.edu/policies for the latest policies regarding GauchoCast.
